Student Spotlight

Student Spotlight: Bailey Steenburgen

Bailey Steenburgen was our Student Spotlight during the October Board of Education Meeting.  Bailey is a 4th grader at Warsaw North Elementary, and is the daughter of Kayla Red Wing and John Steenburgen. She is in Mrs. Richardson’s class. Bailey was the majority winner in a survey sent to North teachers asking for nominations for our student spotlight for the board.

Here are some things teachers said about her when nominating her:

“Bailey is kind, compassionate and responsible. She can also be a “mother hen” and take students under her wing to help them along. Perfect student to recognize!- Mrs. Payne

“Bailey is one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met! She greets everyone with a smile and includes those around her. Her positivity is absolutely contagious! I truly love her and anyone who knows her feels the same!” Mrs. J

“Bailey is a polite and joyful student.  She is always smiling and always seems to have fun with what she is doing.  She shows great determination for a young student and I love her competitiveness.” -Coach Wisdom

“Miss Bailey June is a sweet, beautiful, and talented entrepreneur.  Bailey has a gift of being able to help others in need and build friends and classmates up.   Her positivity radiates and lights up a room! She brings out the best in others.  I do not doubt that the future is going to be bright and endless opportunities will come Miss Bailey's way! I can't wait to see more of Miss Bailey! Bailey represents Wildcat Pride to its fullest!” -Mrs. Fluty

“Bailey is extremely enthusiastic, hardworking and dependable. She is always being safe, respectful and responsible.” -Anonymous

“Bailey is an exceptional student in the classroom and in the community. She is inclusive with every kid she comes in contact with, and never complains about being grouped with students who have difficulties with behaviors or IQ levels. She often volunteers to help me with whatever I may need, and has also been seen helping mentor/tutor kids who are struggling. Bailey is involved in competitive dance, where she spends an average of 4-5 hours a week at the dance studio, she is a part of the youth wrestling program, the youth volleyball program and the summer softball program. Bailey is also an active girl scout, and does her best to represent the troop with pride. Bailey can also be seen competing in the local Jubilee Days pageant, where she has been awarded Miss Congeniality for her constant kindness towards others.” -Anonymous

We are so proud of Miss Bailey Steenburgen for representing #WildcatPride in everything she does.

The Warsaw R-IX School District is very honored to have you as one of our students!
