Student Spotlight: Isaac Daughenbaugh

Student Spotlight: Isaac Daughenbaugh

Isaac Daughenbaugh was our Student Spotlight during the May Board of Education Meeting. Isaac is an 8th grader at John Boise Middle School, and is the son of Darren and Paula Daughenbaugh.

Here are descriptions from the individuals that nominated him:

“Isaac’s active engagement and thirst for knowledge sets him apart. He consistently comes to class prepared, asking insightful questions and contributing thoughtful insights to discussions. What impresses me most is Isaac’s ability to maintain a humble and grounded perspective. His growth mindset will serve him well as a high school student. Your combination of academic talent, strong work ethic, and humble demeanor is rare to find in a middle school student. Keep up the good work!”

“Isaac is not only a hard worker academically, but also strives for greatness in athletics. Isaac is a student a teacher can count on for doing the right thing even when no one is watching. He is a rule follower but also enjoys the fun that is being a middle schooler. Being the son of two teachers is probably pretty tough sometimes, but Isaac fits in with his peers and fellow athletes and has fun doing it. I am proud that Isaac wants the best out of his school day and truly loves to learn new things. Isaac plays for our football team, wrestles on our wrestling team, as well as being a member of our track and field team. He juggles being a student athlete very well and keeps his grades and attendance in good standing. It has been a pleasure having him in class.”

“Isaac has been a very positive addition to the JBMS student body.  His work ethic, active participation, and humility really set him apart as a JBMS student spotlight. Keep striving to do your best as a high school student Isaac, you have a bright future.”

Congratulations to Isaac for all the great accomplishments you have received.  Keep up the great work!

The Warsaw R-IX School District is very honored to have you as one of our students!
