Wildcat Pride Award for May 2025 - Salvation Army - Warsaw
The Salvation Army - Warsaw has been selected as the Wildcat Pride Award for May 2025. This award is given to an individual and/or group that has shown dedication to the Warsaw R-IX School District through involvement in activities, contributions to the programs, and positive impact made towards our students and staff. Everyone at the Salvation Army - Warsaw has taken great pride in the Warsaw R-IX School District and also the Warsaw community.
The Salvation Army has been a longstanding and steadfast supporter of the Warsaw R-IX School District. Their commitment goes far beyond the visible, consistently working behind the scenes to ensure our students and staff receive meaningful support. One of the most significant contributions has been their assistance in providing food to students—not only during the school year but especially throughout the summer months when resources can be limited. Their collaboration with our social services coordinator has been outstanding and deeply appreciated.
Although they were selected for this recognition prior to the devastating tornadoes on May 19th, The Salvation Army’s continued response to that crisis has only further highlighted their dedication. They have actively worked to provide essential items to those affected and continue to secure resources and funds to assist members of our community in need.
Their ongoing presence and generosity have made a lasting difference in the lives of many, reinforcing the values of compassion, service, and community support.
