Wildcat Pride Award for March 2025 - American Legion
The American Legion has been selected as the Wildcat Pride Award for March 2025. This award is given to an individual and/or group that has shown dedication to the Warsaw R-IX School District through involvement in activities, contributions to the programs, and positive impact made towards our students and staff. Everyone at the American Legion has taken great pride in the Warsaw R-IX School District and also the Warsaw community.
The American Legion has been a long standing supporter of the Warsaw R-IX School District, contributing in numerous meaningful ways over the years. Currently, they are working with our school to get students signed up for Boys’ and Girls’ State. We were blessed to have the biggest group of juniors go last year to Boys’ and Girls’ State. The American Legion organized other partners to help get enough funds so that we did not need to turn a student away from attending. Their willingness to donate items to our students, teachers, and community is fantastic. We use the building to give our students the ASVAB test yearly, and they are willing to help our school and our organizations use their building as well. For example, we have used it for beginning teacher lunch in August and project graduation has used it for fundraisers as well. Their ongoing support has greatly benefited the students and staff of Warsaw R-IX, making a lasting impact on our community.
Thank you American Legion for your time and dedication to the Warsaw R-IX School District. Keep up the great work!
