Stashia Allcorn
South Elementary | 4th Grade
Please help us welcome Stashia Allcorn to Warsaw Schools! Ms. Allcorn will be joining the team at South Elementary as a 4th grade teacher. She brings 10 years of experience teaching 3rd and 4th grade in the Warrensburg School District and is now ready to start a new adventure here in Warsaw.
Outside the classroom, she’s a proud mom to two grown children and two adorable pups—a Yorkie and a Shih Tzu.
Ms. Allcorn can’t wait to connect with her students, their families, and the amazing staff at South Elementary!
Austin Baxter
South Elementary | 1st Grade
Please help us welcome Austin Baxter to Warsaw Schools! Ms. Baxter will be joining the team at South Elementary as a 1st grade teacher.
Originally from Norborne, Missouri, Ms. Baxter graduated from Northwest Missouri State with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. She previously taught 5th grade for five years and is passionate about helping kids build skills and chase their dreams.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, fishing, and sketching.
She’s excited to start this new chapter in 1st grade and can’t wait to learn and grow alongside her students and fellow colleagues!
David Brown
JBMS | Social Studies
We’re excited to welcome David Brown to Warsaw Schools! Mr. Brown will be teaching 6th and 7th grade Social Studies at JBMS and assisting with high school basketball.
Mr. Brown is originally from Orrick, Missouri and attended college at Kansas State University—so he’s no stranger to being a Wildcat! While this is his first official teaching role, he brings valuable experience from student teaching both 6th and 9th grades.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Brown enjoys cheering on his K-State Wildcats, watching movies, playing video games, and spending time with his family. He’s looking forward to connecting with students, supporting them in becoming their best selves, and getting involved in the Warsaw community.
Lisa Carr
North Elementary | Special Education
We’re excited to welcome Lisa Carr to Warsaw Schools as a new Special Education teacher at North Elementary! With 34 years of experience, Mrs. Carr brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping all students succeed.
She’s taught nearly every grade K–5 and most recently served as a math intervention and technology teacher. She holds degrees from Northwest Missouri State and Webster University, along with an administrative license from Baker University.
Mrs. Carr recently moved to the area with her husband Darin and their 12-year-old son, Artemio. She’s also a proud mom to two grown children and a brand-new grandma to Lainey Kay, born this summer!
In her free time, she enjoys fishing, kayaking, playing games with family and friends, and antiquing for unique treasures.
Elizabeth DeLacy
South Elementary | 4th Grade
We’re excited to welcome Mrs. DeLacy to Warsaw Schools as a 4th grade teacher at South Elementary!
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Greenville University and a master’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University. Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. DeLacy spent 12 years serving as a pastor and administrator for The Salvation Army, where she developed a deep passion for building community and supporting others.
Mrs. DeLacy is married and has three wonderful children, along with a cocker spaniel named Brother Bear who loves spending time outdoors.
She enjoys music, art, STEAM, and playing outdoor games with her family. A true movie fan, she especially loves science fiction, superhero films, and fantasy flicks. Her favorite color? Green—GO Wildcats!
Mrs. DeLacy is excited to meet her students and their families and is looking forward to a year full of learning, connection, and trying new things together.
Delaney Gerken
North Elementary | Special Education
Please help us welcome Delaney Gerken to Warsaw Schools! Miss Gerken, who goes by Miss G, will be joining the North Elementary team as a SPED teacher and is also stepping in as an assistant high school volleyball coach.
She brings experience as a paraprofessional, after-school program leader, and 6th grade teacher. She’s excited to teach in Warsaw, where she has strong family roots and a passion for helping students succeed.
Miss G loves Friends, Golden Girls, her three pups (Buck, Kash, and Blu), and spending time with loved ones. She and her fiancé, Levi, are getting married this October!
Jacquelyn Hyder
JBMS | Special Education
Please help us welcome Jacquelyn Hyder to Warsaw Schools! Mrs. Hyder will be joining the team at John Boise Middle School as a special education teacher. After three years as a Special Education Para, she recently earned her B.A. in Educational Studies and completed her teacher certification.
Mrs. Hyder is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they’re proudly raising three kids on a small farm full of animals. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, traveling—and collecting all things miniature and sunflower!
Mishelle Johns
South Elementary | Special Education
Please help us welcome Mishelle Johns to her new role at South Elementary as a Special Education Teacher!
Mrs. Johns brings several years of hands-on experience supporting students with diverse needs, most recently serving as a paraprofessional in the Essential Skills classroom right here in Warsaw. She’s currently completing her dual licensure in Special Education and Elementary Education through Western Governors University and is passionate about providing personalized support that helps every student thrive.
When she’s not in the classroom, you’ll likely find her diving into graphic design projects, curled up with a good book, or spending time with her husband Aaron and their beloved fur kids.
Mrs. Johns is beyond excited to officially step into this new role and continue serving the amazing students and families of Warsaw. We’re so lucky to have her on the team!
Brandi Laramie
High School | Math
We’re excited to welcome Brandi Laramie as the new Algebra I teacher at Warsaw High School! A WHS graduate and Warsaw native, Mrs. Laramie returns home with 13 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for both math and student success.
After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, she earned her degree from the University of Idaho and has since focused on building a positive, encouraging classroom where all students can thrive.
Outside the classroom, Mrs. Laramie enjoys spending time with family, her two dogs—Loki and Phoebe—gardening, reading, and exploring the beautiful trails around the area.
Kylee Lawrence
District | Social Services
We’re excited to welcome Kylee Lawrence back to Warsaw Schools! She’ll be serving in Social Services across the district, bringing a deep passion for student support and community care.
Mrs. Lawrence is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science at UCM and holds an associate degree from SFCC. She and her husband have been married for three years and share their home with two adorable pups, Kevin and Winston.
A proud Warsaw alum, Mrs. Lawrence is thrilled for this “full-circle moment” as she returns to give back to the community that helped shape her. She enjoys hunting, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and relaxing with a good movie.
Kaya Lynch

A proud Warsaw High School Class of 2012 graduate, Ms. Lynch is excited to return to her hometown! Most recently, she’s focused on her most important role yet—being a stay-at-home mom to her two children.
Now stepping into the classroom, Ms. Lynch is passionate about creating a space where every student feels seen, challenged, and supported. Her goal is to help students build a strong foundation in the English language while fostering a genuine love for reading and writing.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, baking, and traveling with her kids.
Noah Marshall
High School | Social Studies
Please help us welcome Noah Marshall to Warsaw Schools!
Originally from Sedalia, Missouri, Mr. Marshall is a proud graduate of the University of Central Missouri. He’s currently pursuing his master’s in Business Administration while kicking off his first year as a classroom teacher.
Mr. Marshall brings valuable coaching experience to our district, having served as a graduate assistant for the men’s basketball team at State Fair Community College and as an assistant coach for Sacred Heart’s varsity boys basketball team. This year, he’ll be coaching our middle school boys’ basketball team and assisting with the high school varsity boys.
Outside of school, he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, working out, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Mr. Marshall is ready to hit the ground running—both in the classroom and in the gym—and is excited to meet all his new students and athletes!
Derek McCarty
South Elementary | 5th Grade
We’re excited to introduce Derek McCarty as a new 5th grade teacher at Warsaw South Elementary! This will be his fifth year in the classroom, with previous experience teaching 3rd and 4th grade at a small rural school in southwest Missouri. He earned his degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State University and says he can’t imagine doing anything else!
Originally from the Joplin area, Mr. McCarty recently moved to Warsaw to be closer to his girlfriend and her daughter—who he proudly considers family.
In his free time, he enjoys video games, reading, collecting vinyl records, and exploring flea markets and antique shops in search of unique finds.
Mr. McCarty is excited to join the Warsaw community, build strong connections, and see all the amazing work his 5th graders will do this year!
Victoria McLain
North Elementary | 2nd Grade
Please help us welcome Victoria McLain to Warsaw Schools! Ms. McLain will be joining the team at North Elementary as a 2nd grade teacher! Originally from Northwestern Missouri, Ms. McLain is a first-year teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Missouri Western—and she’s currently earning her master’s in Educational Technology at UCM.
She has a strong background in education thanks to years of experience as a preschool teacher, before/after school teacher, substitute, and long-term sub. She’s excited to be living and teaching in her dream area.
Ms. McLain loves reading, diamond painting, and spending time with her puppy, Maisie.
Brenna Smith
North Elementary | 3rd Grade
We’re thrilled to welcome Brenna Smith back to Warsaw Schools as a 3rd grade teacher at North Elementary!
A proud 2019 graduate of WHS, Miss Smith earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. After two years working in public relations in Kansas City, she felt called to the classroom and began her journey in education—following in the footsteps of her mother, Mrs. Laura Smith, who recently retired from the Warsaw School District after over 20 years of dedicated service.
Miss Smith is currently completing her master’s degree in Elementary Education at the University of Central Missouri and is excited to return to her hometown to begin this new chapter.
When she’s not teaching, Miss Smith loves traveling and has explored countries like Peru, Greece, Belgium, Scotland, Germany, and France since graduating high school. She also enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her golden retriever, Ruby.
Tim Willis
High School | English
We’re excited to introduce Timothy Willis as the newest member of the English Department at Warsaw High School! A proud business owner, academic scholar, and community leader, Mr. Willis brings a wealth of experience to the classroom and a strong passion for education, research, and service.
He holds a PhD in Psychology, with a focus on health disparities and mental health care access for adjudicated youth. His background includes work in education, research, the U.S. Navy Reserve, law enforcement, and ministry.
Mr. Willis is dedicated to helping students grow as readers, writers, and thinkers—and is committed to making a difference both inside and outside the classroom. His long-term goal? To retire as a proud English teacher in the Warsaw School District!
Deborah Wilson
JBMS | Math
We’re excited to welcome Deborah Wilson to John Boise Middle School as our new 8th Grade Math teacher! With over a decade of teaching experience, Ms. Wilson brings both a passion for mathematics and a deep commitment to helping students build skills and confidence in the subject.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education with a Mathematics major from the University of Central Missouri and is certified to teach grades 5–12.
A proud resident of the Warsaw area, Ms. Wilson enjoys country life with her two sons, two cats, and one dog. In her free time, you’ll find her reading, swimming, hiking, cooking, gaming, or spending time with loved ones.
