📣 New for the 2026–2027 School Year: ParentSquare!
As we begin a new school year, we’re excited to introduce ParentSquare, our new parent-teacher communication platform for families across Warsaw R-IX. ParentSquare replaces the previously used Remind platform and provides families, teachers, and coaches who choose to use it with a convenient way to stay connected.
📱 Families should have received an invitation to join ParentSquare. Your student’s teacher should automatically be connected to you through the platform.
To make sure you receive messages, please ensure you are using the email address and phone number your school has on file.
ℹ️ ParentSquare replaces Remind for parent-teacher communication, but it DOES NOT replace the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or the Warsaw R-IX app. Families should continue using those platforms as they normally do.

As we get started with a new program, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we learn ParentSquare together! If you discover a helpful feature, a fun tool, or run into something that doesn’t seem to be working quite right, we’d love to hear about it! CTC’s first day is Monday, August 24. The bus will leave from the high school promptly at 11:00 a.m. Students enrolled in CTC are encouraged to arrive 10–15 minutes early to ensure they are ready to leave on time.

A big welcome to our newest faculty! Today was their first official day as Wildcats! 🐾
They spent the day with our administrative team and mentors learning what it means to be a Wildcat, while getting settled into their buildings and classrooms before the rest of our staff returns tomorrow for districtwide back-to-school PD. #WildcatPride

🇺🇲 Meet Mr. Ryle — our new History Teacher at Warsaw High School! 🇺🇲
We’re excited to welcome Mr. Ryle to the Warsaw R-IX faculty! He recently graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Education. During his time at Mizzou, he completed his student teaching at Harrisburg High School.
Mr. Ryle is passionate about history and is excited to teach social studies because it gives him the opportunity to help students develop critical thinking skills and gain a greater understanding of the world around them.
Outside of school, Mr. Ryle enjoys reading, hiking, fishing, traveling, and learning about history. He also plays the trombone and was a member of Marching Mizzou while attending the University of Missouri. 🎺📚
Mr. Ryle is excited to join Warsaw because of the strong sense of community he has already seen here.

Mr. Best is currently completing his bachelor’s degree in history and is excited to continue learning alongside his students and bring his passion for history into the classroom.
Outside of school, Mr. Best enjoys gaming, reading, singing, driving, and—most importantly—spending time with his daughter, Pyper. He says being a dad is his favorite title and is incredibly proud to be her dad. ❤️

🎶 Meet Mr. Milzarek — our new Director of Bands at Warsaw High School & JBMS! 🎶
We’re excited to welcome Mr. Milzarek to the Warsaw R-IX faculty! He brings a strong background in music education and performance, with a Bachelor’s of Music Education with an emphasis in percussion from Pittsburg State University and a Master’s of Music Performance from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
His teaching experience includes the Mt. Vernon R-V School District and serving as an Adjunct Professor of Percussion at Missouri Southern State University.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Milzarek enjoys baseball (especially the Chicago Cubs!), cooking, video games, and all things music. He and his wife, Lindsey (who is also joining us this year!), are also expecting a little one in September! Their family includes two cats, Leo and Reggie, and two dogs, Hazel and Mabel. 🐾
Mr. Milzarek is excited to build on the foundation that’s already here and work alongside students, families, and our community to grow a band program that everyone can be proud of.
