
Youth football camp is this evening and tomorrow evening at WHS. It's going to be a great season!


The Warsaw R-IX School District would like to welcome Nina Sprouse as our new high school business teacher! After graduating from WHS, Nina completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and Master of Science in Secondary Education--Social Studies from Central Missouri State University. Over the past 29 years, Nina has taught Business, Computer Science, Social Studies, and Gifted Education courses in both public and private schools. In her free time, Nina likes to read and swim. Her son, Ryan, is also a graduate of WHS. Nina is looking forward to returning to her alma mater and helping the next generation of students pursue their dreams.

JBMS VOLLEYBALL NEWS:
We hope you all have enjoyed your summer & we look forward to seeing everyone next week at Open Gym.
Open gym sessions are as follows:
July 25th-July 27th and August 1st-3rd
Time: 9-10:30
Location: MS Gym
*Please drop off & pick up your athlete at the back door of the MS gym. The front doors of the school will be locked.
Athletes need to come prepared with:
•Volleyball shoes
•Knee Pads
•Appropriate volleyball attire (spandex or shorts and a t-shirt *no cut off tops allowed)
•Water bottle filled
*All jewelry needs to be left at home or removed and placed in your bag before practice starts.
Reminder: Please join the TeamApp and request access to JBMS Volleyball to get updated information as it arises.
We are excited to see our returning athletes & meet our new athletes attending open gym!

The Warsaw R-IX School District is excited to announce that Mrs. Ally Richardson will be joining the staff at North Elementary this fall as a 4th grade teacher! Ally will be in her eighth year of teaching, with her last seven years spent as a Montrose Bluejay. Ally is a 2007 graduate of Warsaw High School, and is married to her high school sweetheart, Aaron, and they have two children, Aniston and Axel. When she is not at her kids' activities, Ally can be found swimming, kayaking, reading a book, or watching Chiefs football. Ally is looking forward to being back in Warsaw and showing her Wildcat pride, both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Warsaw R-IX School District is excited to welcome Sandra Stewart as the new band director for the 2023/2024 school year! Sandra lives in El Dorado Springs where she and her husband raise cattle and hay.
After several years as the accompanist for El Dorado Springs, she returned to school and graduated this past May with her Music Education degree from Pittsburg State University. During this time she was the assistant marching band director at Nevada and also assisted the show choir band and musical theater at Nevada. During the summer, Sandra participates in the El Dorado Springs Municipal band where she plays alto saxophone and conducts part time. Sandra attends Tiffin Baptist Church where she is a teacher and pianist. Her other activities include spending time with her family, being outside in the yard and garden, quilting, and crocheting.

The driveway work at HS/JBMS campus will begin tomorrow, 7/11. For weights, parents and students will need to go on the backside of the building and park by the bus barn. Students will need to walk up the stairs by the home side bleachers. Starting 7/17, you should be able to resume normal drop-off.

Today in Mrs. Brownsberger's 1st grade class at summer school, the students made bubbles and bubble wands as part of their "Backyard Fun" unit.






The Benton County Smart Start Back to School Fair will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the John Boise Middle School Cafeteria from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. You do not need to pre-register! If you live in Benton County, you qualify!


Mrs. Culpepper was at summer school today! The 4th and 5th grade students enjoyed working in the community garden at North Elementary and learning about fresh fruits and vegetables.





Elementary Summer School Families:
Some students attending the elementary summer school program will be coming home with field trip permission slips. Please check your child's backpack, sign and return the forms by Tuesday, June 6th if you would like your child to attend these upcoming summer school field trips.
